Which Physiotherapist do I book in with?
All of our Physiotherapists have the skills and knowledge to deal with any general conditions your present with. However, each physio has different interests and expertise. If you need speciality input for a particular condition you may need to book in with a specific physiotherapist. If you book online, those with extra qualifications in the relevant fields will be the only available physio to book with. You can also read each physio's bio in the "Meet the Team" section to see who may line up with your needs the best.
How much do your appointments cost?
Our appointments are costed differently according to appointment type and duration. Our general initial assessments are 40 minutes long and are currently $128. Follow-ups range from 20-60+ minutes depending on your needs and range from $86-$180. Please see the "Services" section for more information of appointment types. Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can see a physiotherapist without a GP referral. However, if you are booking under a Medicare Plan (GPMP), DVA or SONDER you are required to have the relevant referral in place.
Do you take all Private Health Funds?
Yes, our HICAPS machine accepts all major health funds and credit/debit cards, including AMEX.
How much will my Private Health cover?
It depends. Your benefits from your Private Health depend on your individual level of cover, your health fund and appointment type/cost. For more information contact your health fund provider.
Do you take Work Cover clients?
Yes, we accept all work cover clients with pre-approved Physiotherapy as part of their claim. If you have a work cover claim please ensure Physiotherapy has been approved before your first appointment, you will be required to fill out a separate patient form with your work cover details including claim number, case manager and employment details.. If you are unsure about these details, please call the clinic to discuss.
How do I know which class to book into?
Your Physiotherapist should be able to recommend which class is suitable for you. If you wish to participate in classes, you need a pre-class assessment. If you wish to participate in Pilates, you can book online ....
Can I use my Private Health for classes?
Yes and no. If you are participating in group exercise classes you may be able to claim your class attendances through your health fund. Please contact your provider for more details.
If you are participating in Pilates, this is not covered by any Private Health funds in Australia.
Do you do massage?
Yes, you can book in specifically for a massage appointment, or your Physiotherapist may suggest it as part of your treatment program during your physiotherapy appointment.
Do you do dry needling?
Yes, all our current Physiotherapists have dry needling qualifications.
Do you do hydrotherapy?
Yes. If you believe hydrotherapy may benefit you, or your Physiotherapist suggests this as part of your treatment plan we can write your program for you and take you to the local hydrotherapy pool, located at The Valleys Lifestyle Centre, and run through your program 1:1 during their Water Walking sessions. We do not run hydrotherapy classes.
Do you do house calls/off-site visits?
Yes, with conditions.
We can take you to the local gyms in Clare if this is recommended as part of your treatment program. Depending on your preference/if you are a member of the gym already there may be additional gym fees associated with these visits.
We can certainly meet you in other locations including sporting arenas, ovals, trails, workplace etc. if it is relevant to supporting your rehabilitation goals, please discuss this with your physio.
